Becoming a patient at Limegreen Dental

Choosing a dentist is a personal decision, and we do not take it lightly when a family chooses us. Limegreen Dental started in Mississauga in 2014 and opened on Limeridge Road West in 2017, just off Upper James with easy access from the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. We see patients from across the Mountain and neighbouring areas such as Westcliffe, Buchanan, Hill Park and Mohawk, along with Ancaster, Dundas and Stoney Creek.

There is no long wait list and no membership to sign. You can request a visit today and we will reach out to confirm a time that suits your week, including evenings and Saturdays. New patients are seen by Dr. Rania Salih, Dr. Firas Elias and Dr. Dania, supported by our hygienists, dental assistant and front-desk team.

What to expect at your first visit

Your first appointment is mostly about getting to know you and your mouth. We listen first, examine carefully, and only then talk about any treatment. Here is how a typical first visit flows.

A warm welcome and paperwork

Hanna or Zainab will greet you at reception, confirm your details, and review the short medical and dental history you filled in. This is the moment to mention anything that worries you.

A full examination

Your dentist checks your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, and screens for early signs of decay, gum disease and other concerns. We take digital x-rays only where they add useful information.

A plain-language conversation

We explain what we found in everyday words, show you images where helpful, and answer your questions. If treatment is needed, you get clear options before anything is booked.

Cleaning and next steps

When time allows we complete a cleaning and check-up at the same visit. Otherwise we schedule it close by, and set a recall reminder so you stay on track.

What to bring

A little preparation makes your first visit smoother and helps us bill correctly. Please bring:

  • A piece of photo identification.
  • Your dental insurance card, or your Canadian Dental Care Plan details if you are enrolled.
  • A list of any medications you take, including dosages.
  • Any recent x-rays or dental records from a previous dentist, if you have them.
  • The name of anything that has caused you pain or concern, so we do not miss it.

Insurance and the CDCP for new patients

We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan. If you are covered under the CDCP, bring your member details and we will check and explain your coverage and what it includes at your clinic. Just bring your insurance details and our front desk handles the claim.

What should I bring to my first dental appointment?

How long does the first visit take?
